Jordan’s oil bill plummeted by 47.3 percent in 2020, down to JD1.21 billion against JD2.3 billion in 2019, according to official data.
Crude oil remained the Kingdom’s top oil imports at JD395 million, followed by diesel with JD269 million, lubricants with JD23 million, petroleum gas with JD298 million and gasoline with JD231 million, the figures released Wednesday by the Department of Statistics (DoS) revealed.
Noteworthy, the Kingdom’s total imports edged down by 11.3 percent in 2020 down to JD12.07 billion compared with JD13.61 billion in 2019.
